What our teaching areas are doing at Open Day
Centre for Aboriginal Studies [ + ]
Come and learn more about Indigenous cultures and the many courses on offer at the Centre for Aboriginal Studies (CAS) in their 25th year of providing education to Indigenous students.
Open Day will include performances from local Indigenous artists, Indigenous story telling, a kangaroo sausage sizzle and bush food for sale. A student photography exhibition will be on display as well as a display of CAS over the past 25 years.
Prospective students will have an opportunity to speak to lecturers who can help find the perfect course.
Curtin Business School [ + ]

Curtin Business School (CBS) will run guided tours and sessions with essential information about studying business at Curtin. Each of the seven teaching areas (Accounting, Business Law & Taxation, Economics and Finance, Information Systems, Management, Marketing and Graduate School of Business) will have displays and staff available to talk about their courses.
CBS is also running various competitions on the day so don't miss your chance to win lots of great prizes, like movie passes to the next big-hit comedy Tropic Thunder.
Faculty of Health Sciences [ + ]
The Faculty of Health Sciences offer many courses that lead to meaningful careers that impact upon our everyday lives.
Open Day offers you the chance to talk to lecturers and students about specifics courses, tour the facilities and attend information sessions where Curtin experts provide a better understanding of your body and mind.
Find out first hand how you can make a difference in the community! You'll also get a chance to do fun and interesting things like create your own lip balm, test your lung funciton, find out how well you move, can you think outside the sqaure, what exactly is sexology, just how clean are your hands, and much more. To top it alll off, don't miss the free ice-cream giveaway!
Faculty of Humanities [ + ]

The Faculty of Humanities will be have information booths attended by friendly and knowledgable staff, displays, tours and lectures from the five broad areas of Humanities - Built Environment, Design and Art, Media and Communication, Sustainability, Society and Languages, and Education.
The information booths will have brochures and information on Architecture and Interior Architecture, Construction Management, Urban and Regional Planning, Sustainability, Social Sciences, Asian Languages, Film and Television, Journalism, Internet and Information Studies, Communication and Cultural Studies, Art, Design and Education.
Highlights will include fashion parades featuring garments created by our Fashion and Textile Design students, tours of the media facilities, the opportunity to test your skills as a newsreader in our multi-million-dollar TV studio, tours of the Art and Jewellery Design facilities, and exhibitions of work by students from Design and Interior Architecture.
People can also attend detailed information sessions for Social Sciences, Multimedia Design, Sustainability, Art and Jewellery, and Curtin's Writing course.

The Faculty of Science and Engineering offers some of the most exciting and challenging courses you can study at Curtin.
On Open Day seize the opportunity to find out more about the many courses on offer and careers to pursue.
